In collaboration with ReachOut Centre Trust and the Human Resource Office, the TUM EAP offers free and confidential counseling services to TUM staff and their dependents who may be struggling with mental health or substance use disorders. This program is designed to help break the stigma surrounding mental health disorders and provide employees with the tools to thrive professionally and personally.

Mental health disorders can significantly impact workplace safety, productivity, and relationships with co-workers. The TUM EAP is committed to providing a safe and  supportive environment for employees to seek help. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, eating disorders, or disruptive behaviour, the TUM EAP is here to support you.

The Reach Out Centre Trust, a non-profit organization, has been providing preventive and treatment services to people with substance use disorders and HIV and AIDS in Kenya's Coastal region since 2003. By partnering with TUM, they aim to expand their services to reach even more people in need.

At TUM, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and we are committed to providing the resources and support necessary for our employees to thrive. If you or a loved one struggles with a mental health or substance, use disorder, don't hesitate to contact the TUM EAP. Together, we can break down mental health stigma and create a safe and supportive workplace for all.
