TUM management held a sensitization training for the entire workforce on 16th February 2023, at TUM Kiziwi Hotel and Conference facility. The forum was to create awareness on the gender issues affecting staff members at work place and reporting channels. The training was preceded by a 3-day rigorous training for the TUM Gender mainstreaming Committee members to fully equip them with adequate skills that would enable them to handle gender issues related to staff.
The training was facilitated by Ms. Beatrice Zighe and Mr.David Juma of National Gender And Equality Commission (NGEC).
