In a quest to subdue funding challenges that have lately seen to be crippling most of the public universities, TUM has entered into a partnership with University Funding Board (UFB) on 23rd January, 2023 for a sole purpose of resource mobilization for financial sustainability. In this engagement, TUM pledged technical support of developing proposals and concepts papers that would be used by UFB to solicit for donors for funding. In their deliberations, the partners resolved climate change and blue economy as their focal point.

TUM Directorate of Partnership Research & Innovation has endeavored in fostering research culture in the institution. The team steered by the Registrar - Dr. Michael Saulo has always put in place platforms for researchers and innovators to exhibit their findings. The move by UFB has come at a time when TUM has made pleas to the stakeholders to accelerate the projects to the next level of startups and commercialization.
