Welcome to the Department of Management Science. The inauguration of the department comes at a time when Kenya is fully geared towards realization of Vision2030. We are concerned with developing and applying analytics to solve business problems.
The complexities surrounding the Port of Mombasa, the commencement of LAPSSET (Port of Lamu), the construction of the standard gauge railway, the airline liberalization, volatility of stock exchange, financial modeling, transportation and logistics challenges are only but a few areas that require intervention of management science.
